Why we feel it is important that your organization has a web site
Whether you are trying to reach your supporters or artists, the internet is the most effective marketing medium available today. Worldwide, it is estimated that 694 Million People, ages 15 and up, currently use the Internet. Recent surveys conducted by the Pew Internet and American Life Program (www.pewInternet.org) completed in 2006 indicated that 73% of respondents (about 147 million adults) are Internet users, up from 66% (about 133 million adults) in 2005. The online audience is typically well educated as well. 40% of adults with a high school degree go online. Among those who have some college education, 84% use the Internet, and 91% of adults with at least a college degree go online.

Artists are also online. More than three-quarters of all artists, 77%, and 83% of professional Artists use the Internet, compared to 63% of the entire population. Artists are more likely than other Americans to use computers and are typically more experienced computer users relative to the general public. While just 72% of all American adults say they use a computer at their workplace, school, at home, or anywhere else, 84% of artists and 95% of professional Artists use computers.

The Internet has greatly improved connections between artists, art communities and audiences. Posting creative content online provides a way for audiences to discover and follow the work of artists from anywhere in the world. Additionally, the Web affords artists and organizations the opportunity to engage fans and followers of their work, despite their location or budgets.

If you believe it's important for your organization to have their own online presence, and would like a professionally designed site that can be easily managed, then please contact us to get started.
