MosaicGlobe will provide you with a great website using our naming structure (<mysite>.mosaicglobe.com). This works for most site owners but you may want to add a domain name to your site and have the ability to create multiple emails with that domain name as well. This article will walk you through the steps involved in getting your domain name pointed to your website and getting gmail to work for your domain name as well.

Read the Tutorial »

Tutorial: YouTube

Embedding YouTube videos into your MosaicGlobe website

YouTube makes it easy to upload and share your videos. But you may want to embed those videos into your MosaicGlobe website to keep everything under one roof. YouTube provides you with the HTML code to do just that, but working with the code can be a little tricky. Here is a tutorial to walk you through the basics - plus some advanced tips.

Tutorial: RSS Feeds

What is RSS and what can it do for my MosaicGlobe site?

Depending on who you ask, RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" or "Remote Site Syndication". It is a format for delivering site content without actually visiting a site. Like a magazine subscription, you will be sent content. But instead of monthly, you'll receive an update each time the site is updated.

"Listen to your own muse, not critics, learn the techniques and do not let people dissuade your art."

I work primarily with two styles; the Day of the dead, or Dia de los Muertos, uses the skeleton or calavera. I contemporize the style and size, adjust the theme of the piece and come up with modern versions. The other form I work in is the Santos (Saints) art form, sometime better know as devotional art.

I made two Mosaic Globe sites, one for my personal site and one for my business site.
Although I had a Brownie Starmite camera when I was just a kid, my Dad bought me my first "real" 35mm camera when I was in high school and photography has been part of my life ever since. Although I always thought I would end up becoming a documentary photographer, my path took a different turn. Out of college I started working for ILFORD...
